The story from the couch

There are stories we say out loud, and stories we carry in silence for years.

An open book held up towards a blue sky with clouds

Some begin in childhood, in a house where we learned too early to be strong. Others in a relationship that made us doubt ourselves, in a loss we did not know how to grieve, in a fear with no name, or in a tiredness that, after too long, began to look like us.

On the couch, all these stories can finally find a place.

Each of us needs to be seen. Understood. Listened to without hurry. Because sometimes what we did in order to survive no longer helps us live. Because certain wounds keep speaking through anxiety, through relationships, through perfectionism, through withdrawal, through anger, or through that feeling which is so hard to explain: that although everything looks fine, something inside is not.

In the therapeutic space we try to look together at the places where you were left alone with your questions. To understand the mechanisms that once protected you but may be holding you still today. To put into words what existed for a long time only as a sensation, a fear or an unease.

I work by bringing together cognitive behavioural therapy and the perspective of clinical psychology, in order to understand both what you think and feel today and the marks that past experiences have left in you.

Because sometimes the mind knows that „it is over”, but the body still lives as though it were happening.

And healing can begin when those two worlds, the one we understand and the one we still feel, start to meet.

But a person does not exist only on the inside.

Clinical psychology

It helps me look at a person in depth.

Cognitive behavioural therapy

It helps us work with what is happening here and now.

EMDR

It can help us reach, carefully, what still hurts from the past.

Educational psychology

It looks at the child as they are becoming.

Occupational psychology

It looks at a person in relation to their profession, to pressure, to performance, and to the meaning they look for in what they do.

Five different paths, with the same conviction behind them: that you are not only the person here and now.

And that we can let your story write itself, at its own pace.

The first step is a message.

Tell me in two lines what brings you here. I reply personally and we arrange the first meeting together, at the office or online.
