How much does a session cost?
A session costs 250 lei, whichever service it is. I confirm the fee in the reply to your message or by phone, before the first meeting. There are no hidden costs.
How long does a session last?
A counselling or assessment session for adults lasts 50 minutes. Sessions with young children are 45 to 60 minutes, depending on age and on how long the child can keep going. The first conversation with the parents, without the child, also lasts 50 minutes.
My child is 3. Is that too young?
No. The Nepsy battery is used from the age of 3, and the workshop for children starts at 2. At this age we work entirely through play, and the parent is either present or in the next room, depending on how the child feels.
Can everything be done online?
Counselling for adults, career counselling, counselling for parents and the support group work very well online, through the platforms I work with (Hilio, AgendaMed, Pasul, It’s Complicated, Mindtale) or on Zoom. The Nepsy assessment, the workshop for children, occupational psychology certificates and equine-assisted therapy happen only at the office or at the riding arena.
Is it confidential?
Yes. Everything we discuss stays between us, under the Romanian code of ethics for psychologists and data protection law. The only exceptions are the ones the law provides for: immediate danger to your life or someone else’s. With children, parents receive the report and the conclusions, but not the details of every conversation with the child, so that the child can trust the room.
Do you issue psychological certificates?
Yes, within the occupational and organisational psychology specialism: assessments on hiring, periodic assessments and assessments for high-risk roles. For companies, assessments can be held at the office or at your own premises.
How do I get to the office?
There are two offices: in Constanța, at Bd. Ferdinand 24-24 bis, second floor, and in Bucharest, at Calea Victoriei 224, Sector 1. The contact page has a map for both.
What do I do in an emergency?
If you or someone close to you is in immediate danger, call 112. For immediate emotional support there is the free line 0800 801 200. This practice is not an emergency service, but if you write to me I answer as quickly as I can.
How do I cancel or move an appointment?
With a phone call or a message, at least 24 hours in advance, so the slot can be offered to someone else. I understand that things come up, especially with a sick child; we talk and find another day.
